We have been so floored by the recent attention we’ve been getting after a few articles were posted around the internet. Our inboxes have been overflowing with inquiries about groups, referrals to similar services, and requests for training.
If you haven’t seen yet, we were recently spotlighted in an article on Kotaku called Therapists Are Using Dungeons & Dragons to Get Kids to Open Up. The article quickly was shared over 100,000 times, and a few other profiles of our work popped up—even in other languages and in other countries, including the BBC in the UK, Inquirer.net in the Philippines, and on Kotaku Australia.
Just this morning, a spotlight went up about us on Geek & Sundry, a website started by Felicia Day to be “the epicenter of gaming and lifestyle for pop culture fans.” The article is called RPG Therapy for Kids is a Real Thing, and It Works. And the next cycle of inbox flooding begins!
Let us know what you think about the articles, and let us know if there’s something else you’d like to hear from us. Our number of YouTube subscribers, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter followers all jumped after these articles, and we’re excited to start sharing content that you’re excited to read, see, and watch.
